Statement of Diversity and Inclusion

The Subud Association has no dogma or doctrine and is open to all who wish to worship God.  Any political or religious opinions expressed in the writings of individual Subud members, whether privately or commercially published, are those of the authors, and in no way reflect the views or policies of the Subud Association. Subud does not promote any political affiliation or religious creed.

Subud USA, including its member regions and affiliates, reaffirms that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to the fulfillment of its mission. Our position on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion defines:

o   Diversity: The presence and participation of members with varying backgrounds and perspectives, including all m embers despite differences in race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or  parental status.
o   Equity: Equal access to opportunities as well as fair, just, and impartial treatment within the Subud Association.
o   Inclusion: A sense of belonging to an Association where you can feel welcomed, accepted, and respected.

In Subud, it is our core value that we all are equal in our worship of God, and through our form of worship called the Latihan we strive to assist all individuals who seek contact with this Great Life Force. We further recognize that our life is an expression of our inner selves as well as our common humanity and as human beings we all struggle to overcome intolerance in any form as we seek our worship of God.

Subud USA’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been and will continue to be rooted in the respect for the values and unique attributes that make us who we are. We further recognize that our position brings us together to collectively address and celebrate the challenges that face humankind at this time.
