FELIPE AGUIRRE JOINS PROGRAM:

We are pleased to announce that Felipe Aguirre the brilliant pianist from Bogota, Columbia, who performed the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor at the Spokane World Congress in 1997, is returning and will perform the remarkable Beethoven Piano Concertos No. 1, Allegro con brio, Largo and Rondo: Allegro scherzando. He has also become a conductor and studied with the Choir and Orchestra of Schwechat (Austria) from 2000-2002. Since 2002 he has been Music Director and Principal Conductor for the Ibague Symphony Orchestra. Felipe now resides in Spain.

Featuring the European premiere Of "THE SEVEN CIRCLES OF LIFE", a Cantata composed and conducted by Lucas Richman, Principal Conductor with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. This inspirational work uses the text and melodic lines of the Subud founder's poetic work Susila Budhi Dharma. The concert will also feature the finest instrumental soloists from the Subud World Association. The orchestra will be joined by up to 20 Subud musicians from around the world. The Seven Circles of Life Cantata will be narrated by well known American actor Peter Mark Richman.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The International Subud Cultural Association and Subud Cultural Association USA. Donations made directly through this website are only tax exempt for U.S. tax payers.
